Closed on Tuesdays. Last entry is typically about one hour before closing. The Harem and Hagia Irene can close earlier than the courtyards — visit them first if they are a priority.
Hours are set by Milli Saraylar and can change on religious holidays. This page is an independent guide, not the official museum site.
The window ticket does not skip the ticket queue. Fast-Track from €68 skips the ticket line (not security). The Complete Tour from €74 includes a live guide and Harem with hosted entry.

Don't expect a big palace building with hallways. Topkapi Palace is a combination of gardens reminiscent of Roman villas and Asian imperial courts.

Live Quran readings continue incessantly. Talking loud is not recommended. Covering fabrics provided at entrance if needed.

Meeting point: Skip-the-line hosts wait at the point marked in your confirmation email — usually the Fountain of Sultan Ahmed III (white flag) for Fast-Track. This is not palace museum staff.
